Rape motivated by anger is usually unpremeditated,

and is characterized by violent physical assault,

as well as insults or threats.

Rape motivated by power

usually comes from someone the victim knows,

and may involve no more force

than what is necessary to complete the act.

Rape motivated by power may include

date-rape, incest, or child rape by a trusted adult.
